When your body is out of balance, weight and health issues are created. It may take days, weeks, or years until you feel the symptoms of those imbalances. Serious diseases like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and autoimmune diseases take a long time to come to fruition. Prevention is key and the key to prevention is to determine where you are vulnerable. Once we determine that, we can work on proactive measures to protect your one and only body.
Lifestyle coaching is one-on-one lifestyle management. We use questionnaires to help score the six areas, working on the highest scores first. For example, if stress and digestive health are your highest scores then we address those before we look at eating, sleep, and detoxification.
This is a holistic approach to your wellness. Our bodies are very resilient if they have the proper foundations in place. You will also be given a series of exercises to do at home which will help bring your body back into balance.

Your lifestyle during these years of life will largely determine how you will age, handle menopause, maintain fertility/pregnancy health, gain weight in mid-life, effect metabolism, prevent disease (which is more prone to develop in our menopausal years), and many other issues.
In addition to the above key areas, we include a metabolic typing diet questionnaire that addresses the questions of what you are eating and when should you eat. We can also team up with your OB/GYN and other doctors to help determine the best path of health for you.
Metabolic Typing is a system that identifies an individual's genetically based nutritional requirements. There is no one diet that is right for everyone, therefore to achieve optimal health you must determine what is right for you. You will be categorized as a protein type, carbohydrate type, or mixed type. This will direct you towards the diet plan that is right for your body.
The key to good health is good nutrition!!
Lifestyle coaching is done by Michelle Kinlaw, certified CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach. Services can be done over the phone or by e-mail if necessary.
